On June 28, a delegation from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), led by President Institute for Photonic Integration at Eindhoven University of Technology Ton Backx, visited Graduate School of Zhejiang University. Present at the meeting were Jiang Quanyuan, Director  Academic Affairs of Graduate School and Zhao Zhangyao, Director Academic Affairs of Polytechnic institution of ZJU.

Jiang Quanyuan extended his cordial welcome to the TU/e delegation and introduced the current mission and future development of Graduate Education of ZJU and expressed his hope that the two universities will promote cooperation in faculty and student exchange, double degree and joint research programs in various fields. Zhao Zhangyao gave a brief introduction of Polytechnic institution of ZJU.

Ton Backx hoped that the two universities will promote partnership in scientific research, faculty and student mobility in a more precise and focused manner.

Both universities appreciate these years of fruitful cooperation between Zhejiang University and TU/e and hope to strengthen the cooperation and develop more joint training programs for postgraduates from the two universities.
