On Nov 12th, 2010 Symposium on Science, Technology & Education Policy of Zhejiang University and the fifth forum on Science, Technology & Education Policy were held in Run Run Shaw S&T building. The theme of the forum is the engineering education reform in globalization era. The specialists all over the world discussed the recent problems and experience in engineering education to explore the new conception and way in cultivating more engineering talents with international views, leadership and innovation spirits. The forum was focused on exploring engineering education conception and practice, reforming the engineering education mode, cultivating international engineering talents with innovation spirits and creating engineering education collaboration and exchange platform.
