On January 5th, President Wei Yang received the visiting delegation led by Ghauth Jasmon, Chancellor of University of Malaya, Malaysia. Both of the universities introduced the educational circumstance to each other and reached the initial consensus to cooperate on the scholar visits, the research collaborations, the student exchanges after the discussion.
The University of Malaya, recognized as one of the top universities in Malaysia and in the top 200 universities of the world, is the oldest university in Malaysia. It consists of 14 colleges, 4 academic centers, 4 institutes and 2 culture and sport centers. Nearly 30,000 students are on campus.
